Clean hotel close to Niagara-on-the-Lake and outlet shopping mall. Nice and quiet with friendly staff. Everything was great but beds were a little on the hard side.
Staff are courteous and the rooms are quite nice and clean. Would stay here again. The amenities were also nice, an on site work out room and pool.
I am giving 4 stars for the amenities but not the price. The latter was very dissapointing. To be fair, it wasn't just this hotel, but ALL the hotels in the area. Usually, coming fr US I get better prices but not this time. I suspect because of the proximity to Niagara Falls all the prices around were inflated.The hotel itself was just fine. Also a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was renovated with a nice walk in shower.Make sure you ask for a room in the back and at a higher floor so that you could enjoy the view of the forest! It's relaxing!
Nice place. A bit of a drive to the falls. Good shopping close by. Not much choice of restaurants. Just fast food. Hotel is nice.
This is a clean hotel, with new feeling rooms and great beds. The rooms, or at least my room, have a modern retro feel, if that makes sense; almost a nod to the seventies, in a very modern way. I'm not sure if I like it, but it's certainly not out dated.Everything is nice, but they're is one area that I would say needs improvement: it's not a very welcoming place. The staff here check all the boxes, so-to-speak, of customer service, but they feel very much like they are checking boxes and not actually caring. It's hard to describe the feeling exactly, but if you can imagine the difference between "performing the customer service duties that were taught in endless power point meetings" and "providing great customer service", then that feeling is what's missing from every staff interaction. I travel a lot, and I've heard all sorts of hotel slogans that invite you to feel at home. Hilton garden inn Niagara-on-the-Lake should have "when you're here, you are where we work. : " as their slogan. ... but it's a very nice and comfortable workplace...I'd certainly stay here again, and I suppose that's what counts.
