I wanted to reach out. I love your store and always make it a point to come in every year I visit Niagara on the lake. I know you keep the number of people in the store to 2 and have always respected and understood your care for your products and store. I have spend hundreds of dollars each visit ( not that that should matter ) when I came in this week I was very disappointed the lady (one of the owners ) that is normally helps me was not welcoming and I felt very rushed and if I could not even look. The other lady that helped me I assume the other owner was very nice and helpful. However I left feeling unwelcome, rushed and very uncomfortable to look and did not purchase anything. I know you mentioned “personal shopping experience in the last review response and the experience is not that when you don’t feel welcomed to even look at products. I always try to buy from here instead of in the department stores in even though I can get the items cheaper because I like to support the area and the store and appreciate the creative design to the items in the store. I wanted to reach out in hopes another person will not feel this way.
Terrible terrible store and owner I have experienced rudeness and horrible service every time I go to this store not quite sure how they stay in business??
I had visited Valleverde almost two summers ago and I enjoyed the experience very much. As a very shy individual who finds trying on clothing a tedious thing to do, I felt very comfortable trying on some flare jeans that one of the employees recommended me. I remember shaking behind the curtain, thinking I couldn't be seen wearing it but when I got out, that all changed. The two employees were the most supportive people I've ever seen! Sadly I cannot remember their names but I will always remember how they made me feel. Thank you for making me feel better in my skin! I will definitely return in the future.
When I looked at the door it showed the "two customers only" sign. I looked inside and didn't see anyone but there was sign saying that there was a door on the left side of the store. I assumed I was at the wrong door so I checked but there was just another store. The clothes looked very pretty from what I saw though. Even though I wasn't able to any of it close up, it was nice just looking through the window. :)
The clothes in their window are gorgeous and always make me want to go in. Once you’re granted entrance — and yes, they make you feel like they’re doing you a favor to let you in — the racks are too packed to see what they have, the salespeople are the rudest you’ll find anywhere, and you’re pressured to try things on and buy them. Save yourself the aggravation and stay away.
i bought a lovely cardigan here during the shaw festival in Niagara on the lake and LOVE IT. The store front window mannequins instantly caught my eye as it's exactly what I've been searching for. The clothes scream "folklore by taylor swift" , bridgerton and just the loveliest and prettiest style of clothing. The customer service was amazing! They were so sweet and I appreciate the covid precautions! I will definitely be back :)
Terrible customer service. I know my size and the clerk told me I'm a larger size than I am as if she knows my body better than I do. Also, she said I couldn't try on any clothes without buying, when I know she told me I could ONLY try on a dress way larger than my actual size! I'm NOT buying clothes that are way too big for me just because you need to get rid of inventory! I was going to buy a $375 dress in stock, but was not allowed to try it on! I can't buy any clothes if I don't know if they will fit or not!!!! I also would have browsed more and bought more, but I wasn't allowed to try anything else on except the one dress that was way too big for me! Fire your unprofessional workers, or I'm never shopping there again! You just lost a ton of money! I'm very insulted at the unprofessionalism and the catty remarks I received in your shop by your staff! I don't care if I don't look rich enough to buy your clothes or not, you don't treat potential customers that way.
