Service was very disappointing. My sister and I were they in early July and were prepared to make purchases. The staff made us feel like we didn’t belong in the store. Happily spent our money elsewhere with friendly customer service.

Love this store! I always pop in when I'm in town because they have the best selection of clothes. The staff is lovely and always ready to help me put together some beautiful outfits.
Husband and I did a day trip from TO to NOTL this past weekend. Came across this store and decided to go in when I noticed that they carried Marc Cain. The staff did not greet us at all, and instead looked us up and down like we were either thieves or could not afford anything there. Btw we are Asian, not sure if race had something to do with it. Had a wonderful and welcoming experience at all the other stores we shopped at.
I am a fashion klutz. Thankfully, my partner suggested that I pop into Great Things a few years ago. With Sharon’s guidance, I’ve been gradually building a new wardrobe with intentional pieces that are versatile and as she says “the easy breezy casual style of NOTL”. Sharon always makes me feel at ease with a respectful, no pressure approach, and I happily walk out with a bag of clothing, knowing that I’ve purchased quality pieces that are timeless and will last for years. I feel like she’s my own personal stylist while I’m there. She and her associates provide honest advice, and if you tell her what you like and don’t like, she’ll find things that work for you. She suggests items that I would not have thought I’d like, until I tried them on. I can’t speak highly enough about my experience at Great Things and with Sharon. I’ll be back again soon.
Popped into the store yesterday and had a really disappointing experience. A sales assistant reached right across my mum to pick up an item of clothing without saying a word — no “excuse me” or apology. At first, my mum thought she was just another customer because the behaviour was so abrupt and unprofessional. We were both really taken aback by how rude it was. Definitely not the kind of customer service you’d expect.
While browsing this shop the salesperson made a very derogatory comment to a conversation that my friend and I were having regarding clothing.We both looked at each other thinking ...did she really say that?? Little did we know that shopping required a Net Worth Statement to be shown at the front door! That seems to be the case with this store I won't be going back and will advise my friends to avoid it too.
