We celebrated our bride with a bachelorette wine tour this past weekend and it was nothing short of perfect. From the beginning of this process, booking and reserving our groups spot and keeping in touch with reservations and confirmation, Dave was incredible. He accommodated us in every way he possibly could, and was generously providing us with more than enough information to make sure the day went smoothly for our bride. Francois was an amazing tour guide, filling us in on some of the history and fun facts about the area along the way which was so lovely as none of us are local. He was incredibly polite, and helped us enjoy the afternoon getting us back to home safely. The wineries we visited were lovely, informational and delicious! With the food pairings, it couldn’t have got any better. A favourite stop for our group was Marynissen Estates Winery, where the group enjoyed wine that came out with a “junk food pairing” which was chips and salsa, cheese & chocolate. The wine was delicious, and members of our group purchased wine here! The server was delightful as well. Overall great experience, definitely recommend!
The Niagara Wine Tour Guide under the direction of Dave was just a great, fun experience for anyone who enjoys a glass of wine (or several) along with an informative perspective from someone well versed in the goings on of the Niagara wine region. Dave was able to share a great deal of background on a number of wine and related topics in a really engaging and lighthearted manner that made this a memorable experience. This is the best wine tour in the area. Dave is the best guide there is. He makes it feel like you are going out with a friend, instead of a boring guide. He is very knowledgeable about the wineries you go to and also may make up some facts along the way, so take what he says with a grain of salt LOL. Best tour out there, would definitely book again.
What a day! Be prepared for an interesting and busy day. I loved it. Wonderful, diverse places to sip and taste. So accommodating to all the people in our group. There was old and young in our group and none of us have a complaint. Dave our tour guide was knowledgeable, respectful,helpful, kind and funny.
I did the bachelorette wine tour, and it was absolutely fabulous. We did three different wonderful wineries where we had snacks at our first and last, which was absolutely amazing. Our guide Dave was super friendly and an absolutely wonderful driver. He was very knowledgeable about everything wine related in the area. Definitely. Recommend this for a bachelorette, or even just a nice wine tour of the area!
I would highly recommend considering Niagara Wine Tour Guides for their Sip & Savour afternoon tour out in the region. Dave was an unimaginably friendly guide, also coincidentally the company owner, and he's clearly not only doing this as a business but because he loves wines and the people who make them. He was on a first name and behind-the-bar basis with every stop we made, and opened our eyes and tastebuds to the world of wine tasting and food pairings. He could tell us about every wine each winery served, the history behind the wineries, how long they've been there for, and even future expansion plans. With prompt door-to-door service and a fantastic attitude towards his guests, it's hard to imagine anyone doing a better job. Dave's the guy I'll book again when I bring my parents and friends back for a tour.
Second time with this company and they are the best! Dave was very informative, wonderful and a funny guide! Dave made sure everyone was having a great time and helped with our many photos. Beware of the other tour companies that charge you in usd and are not the actual host company. This company is trust worthy and local. They take you to a variety of large and small wineries which allows for a unique experience. Highly recommend!
