Went for our one year anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better place. Had about 3 or 4 different staff come by and say congratulations to us and were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine from a local vineyard (Back10). Meal was incredible and so was the service!
The restaurant decor is modern and plenty comfortable for patrons. We came for lunch and ordered the lobster club on bread fried in duck fat and the wild mushroom and short ribs gnocchi. The gnocchi was not as soft and light as it should be, but still good. The flavour was very prominent and well developed. The lobster club was super rich. Hard to eat the entire portion. It's best for sharing. The bacon is probably not needed. The bread is is soaked in duck fat...you can tell with every bite. We had a blueberry tart that was accompanied by honey pearls and aged cheddar. The cheddar really brought the flavours together. I would definitely order it again. The server was nice, but seemed a little inauthentic.
Nice place with attentive service. The lobster club was delicious but if I ever came back to order it again (which likely wont ever happen since I live very far away) Id request no goat cheese. I think that just put it slightly over the edge of being too heavy (I actually couldnt finish). Wish I could try more things here! It all looked so good.
Appetizer was excellent (rabbit linguine), but that's unfortunately where it ended. The mains were sub-par. I had a 46$ salty piece meat (or was it fat) accompanied by 5 or 6 pieces of al dente carrots. Although the service is amazing (Benoit, you were great), the food was not worth it. Would not recommend this place, as there are much better spots in the area.
Had dinner and lunch here! It was fantastic. And the recommended wine was perfect for the table! Service was so friendly and perfect! For dinner had the scallops, and then the duck, and the tried every dessert! They were awesome! We went back for lunch the next day, again had the remarkably delicious lobster sandwich and soup. Great experience every time!!
