Took a private bike tour with our group of 12 to 4 different wineries. There was a mix of big and small. Lots of varieties of wine, many unavailable at the LCBO. The tours themselves were educational and fun. The wine was enjoyable and many of us bought some. The biking itself wasnt too strenuous and we felt safe in the routes chosen.
My friend recommended this place for a bike ride wine tour so I came. It was the most fun I ever had on a wine tour. Our guide was hilarious and very approachable. We tried 5 different wineries and had dinner at Caroline's Winery. I'm going back again a year later (booked my tour for this month).
This service is excellent. We had a full 4 hours, biked just under 20k, and visited 4 wineries. The guide and staff at the bike shop get 5 stars- they were fantastic, organized and knowledgeable. I wish there were a chance to eat on the tour- we started around lunchtime and i thought there would be opportunities to eat as wineries typically have food available (there was food at the wineries, but because of the tight schedule we had no time to order any). Frankly, i would have gladly traded the time spent learning about the production of wine at the first stop for a chance to eat later in the day. The four wineries we went to are lovely though- some we had been to before and some were new to us. Caroline cellars was our favourite!!! The ride is long, but getting a bit of exercise while you're drinking all day is really nice. It left all of us feeling great!! Highly recommend these guys!!
This wine tour company is great. Booking was hassle free and they were very accommodating for the dietary/allergy concerns within our group. Check in and pick up was a breeze and our tour guide Paul was very kind and super funny. The various wineries and breweries that we toured were very nice and the people that we met along the way were super informative about the various types and styles of wines/beer/cider. I also enjoyed how the food pairings were spread out among the various locations we went to. I would highly recommend this tour company for a great day out with friends or loved ones.
Had so much fun! Boyfriend and I did the package that was suitable for novices, as I am not athletic by any means, and we survived! The pace was just right. The wineries were beautiful and the tour was very informative. They also give you a discount if you buy the wines as part of the tours, which was amazing! Our guide was super nice and very knowledgeable. Thanks Pete!
