We contacted the front desk upon our initial arrival in our room to report the shower stall had shaving cream and hair in it, they apologized but no further action was taken. There were no slippers provided, no replenishment of toiletries, no newspaper the second day and there was dust on the bedside tables! We documented a SUMMARY of our reported concerns and gave it to the front desk an hour before checking out so they would have an opportunity to rectify. The 'acting manager' reduced our 2 night stay by $30. Insulting. "EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE" as you advertise, it definitely was not.
It was a great experience. The staff and atmosphere, not forgetting the buffet. Everything was exceptional
Went for Thursday lunch service with my wife and friends and had a very nice meal. We were met with a friendly greeting from the hostess who led us to a finely set table. A wide ranging menu of veggie and meat dishes at affordable pricing. I nice glass of red wine went well with my beef brisket ruben on homemade rye bread. Finished off with a nice dessert selection and coffee . Service was prompt and friendly with a cozy atmosphere. You can't go wrong with a lunch visit to The Pillar and Post.
