If u are visiting Niagara falls u must visit this place. We spent nearly 5 hours there. They had different demonstrations/presentations throughout the day. I would definitely go back. We have been to many forts and fort George is one of the best ones. I would recommend going there on a weekend before 12pm. BTW on the ride back to Niagara there are bunch of farm stands with fresh peaches , apricots, cherries, and strawberries

A very interesting place to visit. I believe it is the only old fort in the world in which the former enemy's fort is within cannon range (Fort Niagara in the USA). My children found the musket and cannon demonstrations of interest along with the tunnel to an outer bastion. There is an air conditioned building if you come in the summer heat. The most interesting thing to do here is you can fire a real 1812 era rifle.

I would have loved to have spent more time here. The site is great and there are plenty of things to look at if you love a bit of history. I didn't get much interaction with the figures around which was a bit sad but the fort was enough. Cannons, guns, battles.. history. What's not to love?

It is an interesting historical fort to visit. The demonstrations were interesting and very informative. I also enjoyed the air conditioning in the main buildings as the day we were there it was very hot. The park surrounding the fort is also a great place for a picnic. There are lots of big trees which provide some nice shade.

Warm greeting from the visitors center. All the staff was amazing and very patient, they allowed us to bring our big dog inside the buildings because it was freezing outside. Strongly recommend to everyone to visit if you like Canadian history and being able to see it first hand
