Worst customer service experience by Janet. I picked out 3 teapots and a teacup that was clearly broken and glued back together. I brought them to the counter. I asked if these were display models and if they had other stock. I was met with a cold stare and a huff. When I asked to see the stock in the back, Janet demanded I put everything back into the display. I wasn't even done selecting my teapot. I was shocked and repeated her request to confirm what she wanted. Her response was, well you're the one that moved them. I was disgusted and left. It ruined the rest of my shopping day. I sent you a message on Instagram. EDIT 1: And the Google response from the owner is fitting to the type of establishment this is. Too bad, should you have contacted me privately on IG we could've sorted this out. Now it's public. See the purple teacup on your display shelf. EDIT 2: They tried to delete their response. I added the response in a pic.
When you walk in, it smells divine. There are TONS of options for tea and coffees to choose from. The staff are hit and miss but for the most part it’s a pleasant experience.
In summary, coffee smells good but tastes like water. I really wanted to love this Costa Rican Tarrazú coffee beans because the aroma is wonderful – rich, nutty, and inviting. Unfortunately, the flavor didn’t live up to the smell. No matter how I brewed it, the taste came through very thin and watery, with only a hint of acidity but no real depth. It smells like a bold coffee, but in the cup it feels more diluted than satisfying. If you prefer a very light, subtle brew this might work for you, but I personally found it lacking body and flavor compared to other coffees I’ve tried. My brother bought Hawaiian before and it was similarly disappointing.
Lots of variety of teas and coffees to choose from. I make the drive from niagara falls to get my coffee here. A bit more pricy than other places but worth it. Owner is very friendly. Gave my son a treat when we were there.
It's ok. Packaged teas over priced and very little tea in the bags...if you like weak tea. OK. If you buy actual tea from England and Ireland it's nice and strong and the bags have twice as much tea in them. Better price too, even imported. Coffee variety great if you like flavored coffee. You can get a cup of one of the 6 or so big thermos poured varieties made fresh. Baked goods not very good. Older ladies in the store watch you like a hawk and make you feel like your going to steal something! Yikes, back off sisters.
I highly recommend Victoria’s Teas and Coffees if you are visiting Niagara on the Lake. I bought the chocolate chip,, white chocolate chip and macadamia nut coolies for an event. They were baked fresh that morning. These scrumptious cookies were quickly gobbled up by the guests. I was served by Amelie who was friendly, helpful and efficient. I will definitely return to this shop.
Ordered caramel machiato. The coffee was smooth. Its little on the expensive side for a small cup of coffee. Overall the walk on the street was worth it. Very pretty and nicely planted flowers. A great coffee to go with it
