Went in with incredibly high expectations and was totally disappointed. They do have very creative ice cream flavours but they don't seem to live up to the hype. I had a Moo York Cheesecake and nothing stood out, just a regular ice cream with some chocolate syrup. Was also disappointed by the taste of cones, very bland, far from special. Only really cool thing about the store is the cow-merchandise. Lots of very creative/beautiful designs and pieces of clothing, specially for kids/babies, but unfortunately that is not enough to make me go back.
I first had Cow's ice cream in PEI. The ice cream here is as good as in PEI. They have lots of different flavours and they allow you to sample to help you make your decision. Definitely one of the best ice cream I've ever had. The waffle cones weren't cooked to the same consistency... Some were a bit under done.
The ice cream smells very inviting. The store has good set of options. However, the cone is hard. It makes it difficult to eat. Maybe reduce the thickness?
I was looking for a baby gift for a friend who is a vet. What better place than cows. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. They could have more baby merchandise such as hats, socks, and stand alone bibs. Prices are fairly reasonable though.
Great ice cream. Same prices as PEI. Really great staff. The PEI blueberry ice cream is the best not too sweet but very rich creamy taste. Our trip this summer we had to stop there five times for ice cream. You never know who you will meet in the line. Even if its lined up its worth the wait.....
