Hi, we were in NOTL for a play at the Royal George today that was the BEST, and had an absolutely wonderful time in your store. The lady that worked there, Karen, was an absolute gem. Gave us the history of the George, an update on the new theatre and told us so many wonderful facts about the buildings in Niagara on the Lake. So friendly, kind and it was a pleasure talking to her. We will visit your store next time we are in town.
Was in NOTL in September and visited this shop. Lots of quirky items. Bought a metal Rooster that the staff had named Kevin. Apparently they name all of them. Just wanted to let them know his name is now Beauregard!
Great little store. All kinds of sayings and inspirational things around the walls also a number of animal trinkets and postcards. Prices are good for the area
I bought a decorative tissue box here a few days ago. The two ladies at the cash desk were very friendly and helpful. They automatically packed the item safely without me even having to ask, and they assisted me with the payment when I had a small issue. I highly recommend this shop—not only for its excellent service, but also for the wide variety of souvenirs and gifts - there’s something for every taste here.
I was going to take a trip out to the store but after reading the reviews i would not go . I have been to this store at least twice . the problem is who ever the owner is giving lip service . He keeps saying he is sorry it has to be hurting sales . Easy solution take the woman off the cash no brainer . Why would you keep the same person on cash who keeps on causing all the problems . unless she is and owner even so she or owner should have enough common sense to step away . Hire a student someone else to take over cash . I was going to buy some items but not going to the store . Enough with apologies do something about it . It is all just talk . I read the bad reviews and there are quite a few bad reviews, should be enough for who ever responds to these posts to do something about it instead of just giving lip service You are going to keep on losing customers until you fix the problem in the store remove the person easy solution
Why is it called the Viking Shop? I was excited by the name of the shop, disappointed to see the stock. Do they sell any Viking Ruines? I am referring to the Sudbury store.
Sadly gonna have to avoid this store now. This place really raises the prices past what the retail price should be for certain stuffed animals. One was sitting on the shelf with a tag priced at 89.99! Something that should only retail for 39.99 at most. Which is ripping off any tourist or us locals who don’t know the real prices. Why do this to locals who are trying to support local businesses? Really upsetting to see this.
